Make Lemonade is an independent, contemporary advertising agency. As a creative outlet for offbeat work, we value content and imagination over scale and prestige, always from a strategic point of view.  We’re a rather small enterprise and we prefer to keep it that way. We work in a solid satellite structure with likeminded partners, which makes us able to adjust to your specific needs. Our ideas are pure and fresh,  our approach is flexible. Canvãs Do Brasil
Canvãs Do Brasil

Projet réalisé pour Canvas dans l'industrie Médias pour un public B2C.Canvas asked us to prepare the viewers and the Belgian fans in general for the Fifa World Cup in Brazil. They wanted to do this in a way that is faithful to the channel's identity and programming tradition. During the week of the final draw, we launched Canvãs Do Brasil. Canvãs Do Brasil was a pop-up channel showcasing the best Brazilian drama and documentaries, along with in-house productions infused with a Brazilian flavor. We also recruited real natives by placing ads in the Brazilian expat magazine. Each of them represented a different aspect of Brazil. For a firsthand Brazilian experience, viewers could apply online to meet up with the host of their choice. We captured these encounters in five short documentaries and aired them in prime time on the network’s popular 1st channel. Result: 50% of the Belgian viewers watched the documentaries. In other words: thanks to Canvãs Do Brasil they will experience the World Cup as if they were there themselves.

Projet réalisé pour Warner Music (Novastar) dans l'industrie Musique pour un public B2C.Warner Music approached us for a branded content idea to promote Novastar’s latest album Inside Outside. We developed a 50-minute documentary feature that retraces the album’s creative journey from conception to production. The road trip takes us from Antwerp to the Rockfield Studios in Wales, past breathtaking landscapes and ancient stone circles in the south of England. Equal parts mood piece and travelogue, the film blends Novastar’s songs with suitably poetic imagery.

Projet réalisé pour één dans l'industrie Médias pour un public B2C.Traditionally, Belgian TV networks present the new season to the press at the end of the summer holidays. This year, TV channel één also had a brand new visual identity to install. So on Sunday the 16th of august, when most Belgians return from their holidays we took over Brussels International Airport.

Projet réalisé pour één dans l'industrie Médias pour un public B2C.On March 1st, Jeroen Meus was slated to prepare his 1000th recipe on prime time TV. We grasped the opportunity to do something truly unprecedented.We launched a nationwide poll and invited the Belgian public to vote for the ultimate classic Belgian staple dish. We promoted the poll in a series of commercials featuring Belgian celebrities from various disciplines who recommended their own ultimate Belgian film, race, painting, joke, … and of course their favourite classic dish. On the Daily Dish Facebook page we launched a series of formats encouraging people to nominate their favourite dish on a dedicated website. There was one clear winner: Belgian stew with fries.

Projet réalisé pour Nike SB dans l'industrie Sport pour un public B2C.For the occasion of a new Nike Skateboarding line tied in to the World Cup, we joined forces with Shadowplay Films and headed to Brazil to shoot a skateboarding film. The Brotherhood of the Feet draws subtle parallels between the worlds of skateboarding and soccer. The film premiered at a major Nike event in London. It was subsequently seeded through online Nike SB and Nike Football channels.
