Every web application is server-rendered with Next.js for fast load times, strong SEO performance, and compatibility with AI search crawlers. The frontend is built with React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. The backend runs on Node.js with Prisma ORM and PostgreSQL, with API integrations for payments, third-party services, and AI features as needed. Modall has built web applications for clients including TFI Canada, Wanderfy (AI-powered travel itinerary builder), and dozens of client projects running on HyperSpeed, Modall's proprietary headless CMS. All development is done in-house in Ontario, Canada, with direct access to the developers building the product.

The team handles everything from initial concept and UI/UX design in Figma through to development, testing, App Store submission, and post-launch support. Apps built by Modall include real-time features like push notifications, location services, in-app messaging, and social feeds. Notable mobile projects include Sceene (a nightlife discovery app with real-time venue data and short form video reels) and Vault Club (an exclusive invite-only social networking app for golfers). Every mobile app shares the same backend architecture Modall uses across all projects: Node.js, Prisma ORM, and PostgreSQL, with API integrations for payments, third-party services, and AI features as needed. All development is done in-house at Modall's Ontario office. Clients get weekly builds to a staging environment so they can test on their own device throughout the entire build process.
