For us, the starting point is always the brand. A strong identity will inspire both people and creativity, in- and externally. We have our method to uncover what it is that makes your brand an inspiration and work with you to create the identity and communication design that fits your brand. When the brand strategy is in place, the brand must always be able to surprise -which may be as difficult as defining the brand itself! Creativity and innovation are at the heart of brands that remain relevant. We like to create and develop new ideas in brand design and make no distinction between online and offline communication. Creativity in design is our starting point. We don't work on specific market segments or only B-to-B or B-to-C. We actually like diversity in our clients, big and small. Working with a variety of clients inspires us and keeps us fresh. We always create a style that fits the brand, but our love for simplicity and aesthetics shines through in all of our work.     In graphic design we offer a wide range of communication design such as brochures, publising, promotional materials to webdesign.

    Next to brand and communication design we specialize in packaging and spatial design. Please check our website flink.be for our vision and approach. In packaging design we offer research and strategy, concept development, product design, structureel and visual design, prototyping, materials selection, prepress, sourcing production partners, POS design.

    In spatial design we work on projects such as branded office spaces, exhibition stands, showrooms, shop-in-shops, thematic shop windows, pop-up shop/event concepts, public spaces and wayfinding design.

    The famous principle 'form follows function' formed the basis of modernism in the 1930s. The ideal form was a result of the function. It is also a contested vision: it implies that a certain function of a building has only one ideal design... a destruction of creativity many people feel.

    Form follows function is still a relevant theme in the present-day design world. Web design is an example of this. With the arrival of 'template designs', representing the ‘ideal’ form of a website, many websites today look the same. Very functional and efficient, but is it also effective?

    Our objective is to make your website something that is uniquely yours. Yes, even if we use a template, it still needs good design to make it work! Our 5 step process guarantees a smooth process and a visual style that sets you apart from your competitors.

We worked together with Flink for a project regarding the 125th anniversary of our Butter Crisp “Lukke”. The most important part of this project was the creation of a limited edition tin (10.000 tins) and an extreme limited edition tin (125 tins). We had a very nice and effective collaboration. From concept to creation we had an open and constructive way of communicating. During the project we were able to communicate in a swift fashion so delays weren’t an issue. For a project that we started quite late we were able to launch at the proposed deadline. The quality of the work is as we always expect it here at Jules Destrooper, premium and perfect. Since then Flink has become a reference in the limited portfolio of agencies we work with.
