Beschrijving Twocan is a UK-based product design and engineering consultancy that helps organisations turn technically uncertain ideas into practical, working products. Founded by experienced mechanical engineers, we work with startups, SMEs and established organisations on projects ranging from early feasibility and proof of concept through to detailed mechanical design, prototyping, testing and manufacturing support. Our approach is practical and engineering-led. We focus on identifying the difficult parts of a project early, reducing technical risk and generating the evidence needed to make confident decisions about what happens next. That might mean developing a proof-of-concept rig, producing detailed CAD, carrying out engineering analysis, building and testing prototypes, or preparing a design for manufacture. Twocan is particularly well suited to projects where the solution is not yet obvious. We work closely with clients to understand the commercial and technical requirements, challenge assumptions where necessary and develop solutions that are realistic to manufacture and appropriate for the stage of the project. Our capabilities include product development, mechanical engineering design, prototype development, CAD, FEA and structural analysis, design for manufacture, supplier engagement and manufacturing support. Rather than applying a fixed process to every project, we tailor the level of development to what the client actually needs. Our aim is to turn technical uncertainty into working proof and help clients move forward with greater confidence.
