Ownly Digital ontwikkelt maatwerksoftware, bedrijfssystemen, mobiele apps en websites voor bedrijven in Lancashire en de rest van het Verenigd Koninkrijk. De meeste bedrijven waarmee we werken hebben geen gebrek aan software. Ze hebben een gebrek aan software die bij hen past. Een spreadsheet die eigenlijk maar door één persoon goed wordt begrepen, een abonnement dat het meeste werk doet en tools die niet met elkaar kunnen communiceren. Mensen vullen de hiaten op, en daar gaan tijd en geld verloren. We beginnen met wat het bedrijf gedaan moet krijgen in plaats van met een lijst functies, en bouwen vervolgens het kleinste wat dat mogelijk maakt. Voor elk project ontvangt u vóór de start van de werkzaamheden een offerte met een schriftelijke scope, een vaste prijs en een planning. We ontwikkelen en beheren ook onze eigen softwareproducten, met apps die beschikbaar zijn in de App Store en op Google Play. Daar komt het grootste deel van onze kennis vandaan over hoe je een product na de lancering actief houdt.

Mobile apps for iPhone and Android, built and published end to end. We have apps live on both the App Store and Google Play, so this covers the parts people forget: store listings, review submissions, signing, release builds and the updates afterwards. We handle the whole job rather than handing over a codebase and wishing you luck. Offline behaviour, push notifications, payments and accounts are designed in from the start. Starting price reflects a first release on one platform. A written scope and fixed price come before any code.

Looking after a site once it is live, so the business is not the one noticing when something breaks. Hosting, updates, backups, security patching, uptime and speed monitoring, and the content changes you would rather not do yourself. Most sites are fine on launch day and then quietly rot. Plugins fall out of date, images pile up, forms stop sending, and nobody finds out until an enquiry goes missing. We watch for that instead of waiting to be told. One monthly fee, a named person to ask, and changes made within an agreed turnaround rather than whenever someone gets round to it.
