A creative & considered approach to graphic design & art direction
Intercity is an independent graphic design studio known for its highly considered multi-disciplinary approach. Originally founded in 2004, Intercity consists of founder and creative director Nathan Gale, senior designer Trystan Thompson and graphic designer Radley Cook. The trio work together across two studios based in the South West of England. Although our core team is small, our network is vast and allows us to work cross-media to deliver unique creative solutions across all mediums from print and digital through to moving image and art installations. Our creative output is as varied as our clients’ businesses. Whether responding to a brief from a global sports company, a publishing house, an art gallery, or a start-up brand; our ideas are informed by the brief itself, the ethos of the client, our collective experience, dedicated research, and also through conversation, collaboration and conceptual thinking. Should our creative response to a particular project require us to work beyond our well-honed in-house skill sets, we regularly collaborate with a roster of artists, illustrators, photographers, animators, digital developers, copywriters and printers as and when required. This approach enables us to create cross-platform solutions that are as powerful as they are expertly crafted. We are invested in each of our clients, always aiming to establish long-standing relationships in order to develop and realise their creative vision and business goals through design and communication.
