Foodphoto is een food- en drankencontentstudio in Gent, België. Sinds 1988 produceren we fotografie, film, foodstyling en AI-ondersteunde beelden voor food- en drankenmerken in heel Europa. Vier studio's met daglicht en vier professionele keukens, met fotografen, chefs, foodstylisten en receptontwikkelaars in dienst. Styling wordt nooit uitbesteed en het eten voor de camera is echt en eetbaar. Foto en video worden synchroon vanaf dezelfde set opgenomen, zodat de stills en de film overeenkomen. We werken in de studio en op locatie, rechtstreeks met merken en via agentschappen. Klanten zijn onder meer Danone, Alpro, Vandemoortele, Barry Callebaut, Quick, Lotus Bakeries, Ardo, Greenway, Volvic en Lindemans.

AI-assisted image production for food and drink brands, always built on real photographed product. Foodphoto is a food photography and video studio in Ghent, working with food and drink brands since 1988. AI is a production step for us, not a replacement for the shoot. WHAT WE USE IT FOR - Market localisation: adapting one shoot per market instead of rebuilding the same set in every country - Ingredient and variant swaps: when a recipe changes after the shoot, we adapt the existing image instead of reshooting it - Backgrounds, seasons and formats: more usable variations out of the same production - Pack replacement, combined with motion control, so packaging can be swapped inside finished footage HOW WE WORK - We shoot the real product first, in our own daylight studios, with our own chefs and food stylists - AI is applied to material we made ourselves, so the result still matches what is actually in the box - No generated food that never existed. The product you see is the product you buy. IN PRACTICE Alpro: a global set-up rolled out per market, with AI handling the localisation step instead of a reshoot in every country. Foodbag: weekly recipe content where a late ingredient change is corrected in the existing image rather than costing a shoot day. YoPro: motion control plus 3D pack replacement across twelve SKUs and fifty-six deliverables, from one production.

VerhaalFoodphoto started in 1988 as one photographer, Luk Thys, with a camera and a kitchen. His son Seppe runs it today. Twelve people, four daylight studios and four kitchens in Ghent, with styling, film, retouching and AI in house. Two generations on, the food in front of the camera is still real.
