VerhaalWe founded Ele Studio Berlin in 2017 out of a shared obsession: clear, tactile design that works both on paper and the screen. As Julia Schiller and Oliver Schneider, we combined years of studio practice and a desire to run a focused studio for graphic design for print & web and art direction. In the early days we worked from a tiny Berlin flat, learning to translate editorial rhythms into web layouts and to choose inks with the same care as pixel grids. Today we still take the same hands-on approach: every project is about strategy, craft and detail. We relish tight briefs, messy constraints and the small victories — a perfectly set type, a print run that sings. Our work is driven by curiosity and the joy of making things that feel considered.
