Make your moment special

Carrefour Belgium is one of the foremost mass retailers in the country, with a strong presence and brand awareness – but also strong expectations on the part of the public. We love this sort of environment!

The Challenge

The Grand-Prés store in Mons had been closed for major re-construction. It was obvious Carrefour would have to make a splash when it re-opened. What’s more, the store was to be the first to unveil Carrefour’s new Shopper concept in Europe. So a lot was hanging on this opening!

Carrefour Belgium approached Hello Agency to develop the look & feel for all the communication material used to announce the re-launch.

The goal was to reach local shoppers across all the media they might use. Shoppers had to know exactly what was new – and why they should bother visiting the store in the first week or so.

Ultimately, we delivered a tailor-made theme (that nonetheless fits into the group’s very precise guidelines):

--> ads in the regional press

--> pages in other media used in the complex such as the Imagix Mons cinema magazine

--> outdoor banners visible from the motorway, and

--> all the collateral needed for the opening cocktail.
